New
VC for UAM
Professor Daniel Vershima Uza, has been appointed as the new substantive
Vice Chancellor for University of Agriculture, Makurdi. He is is
to serve as VC for a term of 5 years. He will take over from Professor
Ogunwolu, who has been acting in that capacity since the expiration
of term and departure of Professor Ayatse about a year and half
ago.

NEC
Familiarization Tour
There are arrangements for a delegation comprising UAM Alumni Association
NEC members and directorate of alumni relations to start familiarization
tour of all the branches/chapters of the country. In the light of
this, all branches/chapters that are not yet registered with the
secretariat should do so immediately. This tour will start from
the southern/western/ eastern states in the first phase.
By this notice, branches/chapters in the states affected should
give tentative dates that they will receive these august visitors..
